For Node Runners (Discoverers)

Turn your X browsing into rewards. Here's how to start.

Step 1: Install the Kotofi Extension

1. Install the Kotofi Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store (or follow the link from kotofi.fun).

2. The extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar.

3. Click the icon to open the Kotofi popup.

Step 2: Sign In

1. Click Sign in in the popup.

2. A new browser tab will open asking you to connect your X (Twitter) account.

3. Authorize Kotofi to link your X profile. This lets the protocol recognize you as a discoverer when you see posts on X.

4. Once authorized, the tab will close and you'll be signed in.

Step 3: Connect Your Wallet

To receive rewards, you need a wallet linked to your account:

1. In the Kotofi popup, click Desktop dashboard (or go to kotofi.fun).

2. Sign in to the web app with the same X account if prompted.

3. Go to Account Settings.

4. Click Connect Wallet and follow the prompts to link your Solana wallet.

Your wallet address is now associated with your discoverer profile. All rewards will be credited to this wallet.

Step 4: Turn On Your Node

1. Back in the Kotofi extension popup, click the power button to turn your node on.

2. When the node is on, you'll see Node synced and a signal strength indicator.

3. Keep X (twitter.com) open in a tab and browse as you normally would.

4. The extension runs in the background—you don't need to do anything special. Just use X, and Kotofi will track your discovery activity and presence.

Step 5: Earn Rewards

• Discovery rewards: When you're among the first to see posts that gain traction, you earn rewards based on your position and the post's mindshare.

• Presence rewards: You also earn points for time spent on X while your node is active.

Check your Total earnings in the extension popup. For a full breakdown, visit the desktop dashboard.

For Creators

Get rewarded for the mindshare your content generates.

Step 1: Connect Your X Profile

1. Go to kotofi.fun.

2. Sign in with your X (Twitter) account.

3. Your profile is now linked. Kotofi will track which of your posts match projects and topics on the platform.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

1. Go to Account Settings.

2. Click Connect Wallet and link your Solana wallet.

3. Rewards for your mindshare will be sent to this wallet.

Step 3: Track Your Mindshare

• Visit the Creators or Leaderboards section to see how your posts rank.

• Your mindshare score reflects the quality, reach, and engagement of your content.

• Higher mindshare means more rewards when your posts are discovered and matched to campaigns.

Step 4: Participate in Campaigns

When projects run YAP campaigns, creators whose posts drive mindshare for those projects earn rewards automatically. No extra steps—just keep creating great content.

For Projects & Token Creators

Launch your token and run post-TGE YAP campaigns to grow mindshare.

Step 1: Register Your Project

1. Go to kotofi.fun.

2. Sign in and connect your wallet.

3. Navigate to Launches or Create Token to register your project.

4. Add your project details: name, ticker, keywords, X handles, and hashtags that define your project.

Step 2: Launch Your Token (Optional)

If you're launching a new token, use the Kotofi Launchpad to create and distribute your token. Follow the launchpad flow to set parameters and go live.

Step 3: Create a Post-TGE YAP Campaign

1. Go to Campaigns and create a new campaign.

2. Set your campaign parameters: duration, reward pool, and which projects or topics the campaign targets.

3. Lock rewards in the on-chain escrow vault. This is required—Kotofi does not run on promises. Funds must be locked before the campaign starts.

4. Launch the campaign. Discoverers and creators will start earning as they find and create content that matches your project.

Step 4: Monitor Results

• Track mindshare for your project in real time.

• See which creators and discoverers are driving the most attention.

• Use the data to refine future campaigns.
